Porsche VIP Driving Experience

Porsche VIP Driving Experience
the brief
Porsche entrusted us with curating a premium hospitality experience over a 10-day period for their VIP clientele, complementing an exclusive driving event. Hosted in the West Hall of The Dairy at Waddesdon Manor, the program encompassed breakfast, lunch, and dinner services for over 100 guests daily.
Our objective was to deliver a seamless dining experience that aligned with Porsche’s brand identity and the venue’s historic charm. The challenge lay in crafting an elevated yet approachable menu that could be served promptly, ensuring guests could enjoy their meals between scheduled driving activities.
Additionally, we were tasked with styling various elements of the space—from furniture to table settings—to reflect Porsche’s brand aesthetics while respecting the 19th-century listed building’s ambiance.

seasonal styling
Given the event’s timing in the lead-up to December, we collaborated with Porsche to infuse a subtle festive ambiance without overt Christmas themes. The West Hall’s grand fireplaces were adorned with seasonal florals, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree featuring custom Porsche car baubles added a unique touch.
We incorporated tones of royal blue and emerald green throughout the spaces, using contemporary lounge furniture to connect different settings. Sofas and armchairs were placed on oriental-style rugs, harmonizing with the venue’s traditional aesthetic. Accents of gold chrome enhanced the festive atmosphere while elevating the furniture’s presence in the grand rooms.

bar area
The Regency bar, positioned at the West Hall’s entrance, served as a focal point. In the mornings, guests were welcomed with hot beverages, transitioning to non-alcoholic cocktails in the afternoons. The bar’s soft pastel green hue with gold detailing complemented the traditional setting, offering a premium feel consistent with the lounge seating.

lounge area
Strategically placed lounge areas throughout the orangery and halls provided guests with comfortable spaces to relax between dining and driving experiences. Each cluster of sofas and armchairs was thoughtfully arranged to feel like a permanent feature, proportionate to the surrounding area. Our attentive servers ensured guests were well-catered to, taking drink orders and providing service throughout the day.

food and drink
Our culinary team developed menus centered around seasonal ingredients, aligning with the event’s subtly festive theme. The goal was to offer guests a concise selection of dishes accommodating various dietary requirements without compromising on quality or flavour.
The first guests to arrive were welcomed with breakfast – serving tea, coffee, winter berry yogurt bowl and freshly baked Danish pastries. This was accompanied by either a poached egg with potato rosti, crispy streaky bacon, smoked tomato jam, chives and toasted sourdough for the main dish; or a kale hash brown with avocado, smoked tomato jam, chives for a vegetarian alternative.
In between the morning and afternoon experiences, groups of guests were offered a range of non-alcoholic cocktails from the bar area, which were specially created for the event. The menu included a cinnamon spiced daiquiri with pear, a cranberry rosemary gin collins and a lime sherbet gimlet.
Guests who attended the afternoon experience were also welcomed with non-alcoholic cocktails to have with lunch or dinner – serving tea, coffee, scotch egg with piccalilli or cauliflower cheese bon bon with marmite. This was followed by either a pot roasted corn-fed chicken breast with maple roasted roots, garlic creamed potato, tender stem and port jus, or a wild mushroom & chestnut pithivier with mushroom cream substitute for the vegetarian alternative.

Food waste
In line with our Sustainability Policy, we donated all surplus food after the event. By saving these products from going to waste, we helped feed people in need and reduced carbon emissions on disposal. We are very proud to be partnered with FareShare Sussex & Surrey, and continue to have a close working relationship with them throughout all our events.
